Google and Mattel revealing a new product together
Well, this is an odd event. Google and Mattel have teamed up for a new “announcement and product debut”. The invites for the New York event have started rolling out, urging us to circle our calendars for February 13th.
No other details are known, and no previous leaks regarding this partnership have been seen. I suppose we will have to wait until the 13th!
Opinion: It’s safe to assume this will be all about some kind of toy. After all, that is what Mattel is all about. It’s also interesting to see this invite come right after Google acquired Launchpad Toys. Not that these news stories are related, but it shows that Google is making a strong push to enter kids’ lives.
