Yu Yuphoria is a brand new phone, that debuted in India, with an affordable price tag, of $108. This model will be available exclusively on Amazon India and it will be part of a flash sale, happening on May 28.
Yu’s new handset comes with a full metal design and premium build quality, which is great for this price. Its specs are also quite good, including a TFT 5 inch screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. We’ve got a 64 bit 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 quad core CPU inside, as well as 2 GB of RAM and an Adreno 306 GPU.
The device comes with 16 GB of built in storage, it runs Cyanogen OS 12, with Android Lollipop buried within it and packs a 2300 mAh battery, with quick charging technology. This model is able to reach a 65% charge with just 45 minutes of juicing. Camera-wise we get a main 8 MP shooter, with F/2.2 aperture and LED flash, plus a 5 MP selfie cam, with wide angle lens.
There’s dual SIM and LTE in the mix here, too.
