The LG G4 does support Quick Charge 2.09, after all!
LG denied the existence of Quick Charge 2.0 support when they announced the G4. They actually went as far as saying such a feature wasn’t necessary in a device with a removable battery, but it seems they have changed their mind since.
Qualcomm’s website now shows the LG G4 as a Quick Charge 2.0-compatible smartphone. This means the phone should be able to be charged from 0% to 60% in about 30 minutes. Not bad, right?
Opinion: This should be a nice addition to the LG G4’s current charging features, which do include wireless charging. Add the fact that you can remove the battery and you should have the best batter life experience in class.
