Spotify reaches PS4 and PS3 today
Sony announced a partnership with Spotify in January, a deal that would ensure PlayStation users get access to Spotify’s services via an app called PlayStation Music. Sony Music Unlimited has officially died and the replacement came just in time.
These changes apply for the PS4 and PS3, and it seems to be an exclusive deal. Microsoft won’t be getting the same treatment for a while, so enjoy your new treat!
Opinion: I guess the cool thing about PlayStation Music is that you can play your tunes wile gaming. This is turning the PS4 and PS3 into a much more integrated media device, which was certainly something they needed to do to better compete against Microsoft.
