The German Kentucky Fried Chicken went into digital overdrive with the introduction of a week of Bluetooth keyboard placemats on trays to keep people typing and tapping while they eat (no doubt hoping customers would be tweeting about typing on a tray).
The week-long promotion saw plenty of happy customers pairing their placemats with their smartphones and once they finished their meal, most too the keyboards away with them.
