Google introduces new Chromebook Pixel
The original Chromebook Pixel was stil the most powerful and beautiful Chromebook your money could buy. It didn’t seem like an old computer, as Chrome OS is an always-new operating system. Regardless, some of you may want an upgrade after 2 years and today you are getting it.
Google has just introduced the new Chromebook Pixel. It comes with more power, better battery life and a very similar design (which is a good thing). In addition, prices have slightly gone down. The new Chromebook Pixel starts at $999, which is still high, but a better deal than the previous generation. There’s also an LS version, though, which comes with even more powerful specs.
Let’s start by telling you about the basic iteration. The new Chromebook Pixel comes with an Intel Cire i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the Chromebook Pixel LS features a super powerful Intel Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Both come with the same gorgeous 2560x1700p display and about 12 hours of battery life.
Want to buy one? head on over to Google’s brand new web store, where you can find it along with all other Google products.
Opinion: First of all, I have no idea who would need a Chromebook with that much power. It’s simply insane! Also, I am wondering if Google will be giving this one away at Google IO, this year.
