Google acquires Timeful, a calendar-focused startup
Google Calendar works great, but there’s no denying it could be smarter. What if Google Calendar could learn from your schedule, habits and events? What if it could tell you when the right time to take on your to-do entries is? That is exactly what could be in the works.
Google has acquires Timeful, an iOS app that was famous for helping you organize your calendar events and tasks in said manner. The startup is now part of Google’s team, so let’s stay tuned and see how this app improves the Google experience.
Opinion: Now, we are not sure yet whether this app’s functionality will come to Google Calendar. Really, though – is Google buying a calendar app just to have two competing apps of its own? Nah!
