Nokia Announces the Nokia N1 Tablet

Nokia is back, sort of. Probably the brand with the most fierce support after Apple, Nokia has returned to the hardware manufacturing game in the personal tech space after selling away the mobile manufacturing business to Microsoft, earlier this year. As a clause of that deal, it is obvious Nokia cannot make a competitive handset in the immediate future, in fact all the way up to 2016 late, and as a result they have been exploring new verticals.
Nokia N1 Nokia Announces the Nokia N1 Tablet
Nokia had teased us with an image of a box on their Social Media platform, Twitter last night and turns out the box was indeed the packaging of their latest Android tablet. The tablet which looks very similar to an iPad Mini is priced very aggressively at $249 and would be available in China first and followed by in other countries. The tablet has a 7.9 inch display with a resolution of 2048×1536, and would be powered by a  64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor. The tablet will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, with Nokia’s own Z Launcher on top.
The RAm on board is 2 GB while you have a fixed storage of 32 GB. The device is also the first to feature a reversible C-type connector on the bottom. There are also .5 W speakers on the bottom for a greater surround sound and a set of 8 MP and 5 MP cameras. You can find out more about the tablet, by visiting Nokia’s dedicated site for the same here.
