Chinese smartphone maker Gionee on Friday announced four new Android smartphones for the Indian market including two LTE phones, which mark the debut of its LTE portfolio in the country.
“Gionee has always kept itself updated with the latest technology advancements and market trends. Continuing our endeavor to provide every customer with the best in technology we are announcing a host of new products and LTE devices will be our key focus,” said Arvind. R. Vohra, India Head – Gionee Smartphones.
Talking about the LTE devices first, the company is releasing new V6L LTE and P5L LTE in India, which have been priced at INR 15,000 and INR 10,000 respectively.
Gionee CTRL V6L LTE features Android 4.4, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 5-inch HD IPS display, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot. The phone also packs 1950 mAh battery, dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera and 5MP front shooter.
On the other hand, Gionee Pioneer P5L LTE will feature 4.7-inch FWVGA display, 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1800 mAh battery, 5MP rear camera and Android 4.4.
Coming to the 3G devices, Gionee has stated that it will be launching the new 4.5-inch P4S and 5-inch P6 phones. The company has not revealed the prices, but we do know that the phones come with 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, and 2MP front camera.
All four smartphones will be released around mid-December.
