The Bjork retrospective exhibition opens at MoMA on Saturday 7th March and in true Bjork form, it incorporates technology to enhance the experience.
Bjork is no stranger to tech and music crossovers – check out her still brilliant Biophilia album app to see digital integration done right – and now the retrospective exhibition uses the former Kickstarter technology from Dysonic, the RondoMotion 3D head-tracking headphone attachment that lets the sound follow you through the space.
While the headphones and player will be provided at MoMA, the technology is now alsoavailable for home use for $60.
The tracker attaches to any headphones and uses a 3-axis gyroscope and 3-axis accelerometer to work out which way your face is facing in order to keep up the digital audio facade.
Never one to do things by halves, with this exhibit you’re in Bjork’s safe hands.
