Sling TV has issues handling Game of Thrones season premiere

Sling TV has issues handling Game of Thrones season premiere

Sling TV is off to a great start as a pioneer in internet live TV streaming, but there’s no doubt they will run into some hurdles in the road. A good way to test their prowess? How about throwing a season premiere of what could be the most popular TV show in the world.
Yes, we are talking about Game of Thrones. The franchise’s latest season took off this weekend, and with Sling TV now offering HBO, you know an onslaught of insane fans is going to bust through the doors and watch away.
It turns out a lot of Roku users were having issues last night. Sling TV seems to have handled things very well, though. This issue only affected a small portion of their subscribers, and they seem to be getting ready for whatever may come next.
Opinion: This is really just a small stumble. Sling TV is still learning and building its platform, so it’s all to be expected. I mean come on… this is Game of Thrones we are talking about. By the way, did you guys love it or what?!
