Forget self-driving cars – how about self-flying cars?!
Just when you think sh*t can’t go crazier, another startup comes up with a nuttier idea. Society is barely trying to get accustomed to self-driving vehicles, but AeroMobil is taking things a step further and saying they are already planning their next-generation vehicle. Yes, this would be a self-flying car.
Their current project involves a vehicle that pulls out wings and actually has the capability of flying, as well as being used in regular roads. This is an amazing idea, but theAeroMobil 3.0 is still a human-operated vehicle.
AeroMobil CEO Juraj Vaculik goes on to say the technology is not very far off, and most of it is already here. Autopilot not only allows airplanes to take care of most of the flying, but technology to help planes land and take off on their own also exists.
Opinion: Elon Musk recently argued that drivers are dangerous and they could eventually be outlawed. Will the same happen with airplanes and flying cars?
