HTC Desire 526G+ with octa-core SoC launched in India
HTC has introduced its new mid-tier offering from Desire series in India, the Desire 526G+ which is now available to purchase from online and offline stores.
The 8GB variant is available exclusively on e-commerce portal Snapdeal for Rs 10,400, while the 16GB variant will be available across major retailers in the country for Rs 11,400.
The HTC Desire 526G+ has a 4.7 inch screen with qHD resolution (234 PPI), and is driven by a 1.7 GHz octa core processor coupled with 1GB RAM.
It comes in two 8 GB and 16 GB versions, both have an expandable storage slot with capacity to include a up to 32 GB micro SD card, while also sports an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.
It comes with dual-SIM (micro+micro) compatibility with dual standby and 3G connectivity and runs onAndroid 4.4 KitKat operating system with HTC Sense interface.
Connectivity options in the Desire 526G+ include WiFi (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Smart SIM Switch, and a 3.5mm stereo audio jack. The handset weighs 154 grams, measures 139.8 x 69.65 x 9.8 mm and has a 2000 mAh battery.
