HTC ONE (M8) IN THE UK GETS LOLLIPOP UPDATE

Own an HTC One (M8)? Wondering when the Taiwanese phone is planning to roll out the Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for your smartphone? If so, we ve got good news for. The update is now available for your smartphone. To know if the update is available for your HTC One (M8), all you have to do is go to Settings > Software updates. If Lollipop is available for your smartphone, you ll get a message that asks if you want to download the update or not. As usual, the update is rolling out unlocked variants of the HTC One (M8) first. The build for unlocked versions is labelled 4.16.401.10 and is a hefty 780 MB. So make sure you re connected to a Wi-Fi network (so you don t rack up data charges) and you ve got enough battery life. M8s with O2 are also getting the update. It is a bigger file at 800 MB.
