HP Slate Pro 10 EE G1 – an Android tablet?
HP has been out of the tablet game for a long time. Without counting Windows tablets, of course, which really fall under their own category. The point is that they have been missing in the mobile game since the TouchPad days, and they plan to make a return with the HP Slate Pro 10 EE G1.
This is an Android tablet with a large 10.1-inch tablet, an Intel Atom Z3735F quad-core Bay Trail processor, 2 GB and 32 GB of internal storage. There will also be a very similar version with Windows 8.1, which will be called the HP Pro Tablet 10 EE G1.
Opinion: Can HP really handle coming back to mobile? Maybe, but they should have chosen a different size for the tablet. I still believe there is no point for a 10.1-inch tablet anymore. Either make it portable or make it a convertible!
