China Telecom has announced a new ZTE phone, the G719C, a 64 bit smartphone based on a Snapdragon processor. The CPU in question is the Snapdragon 615 and the device shown below seems to be running a custom version of Android.
This unit runs Android 4.4.4, with a tweaked UI and it brings a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 CPU, as well as a 5.5 inch 720p LCD. On board we find a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies, plus a 13 megapixel shooter with CMOS sensor. Other features include TD-LTE connectivity, with LTE Category 4 also in the mix and a download speed of 150 Mbps tops and upload reaching 50 Mbps.
This model is dual SIM compatible and it comes with two microSIM card slots. It also has Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n and NFC Type A/B. The phone comes with 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage and a 3000 mAh battery pack. The capacitive buttons below the display are very minimalistic and the edges are a bit lifted for the sake of screen protection.
